Webself does not offer the FTP settings feature, as it is a solution for creating dynamically generated websites; clients do not have physical files. All information is entered directly into the editor, images and all file types are saved in the library of each user.
Since the FTP setting feature is not offered, it's not possible to upload files to our domain hosting service.
The only way to verify domain ownership, is by adding the .txt record that has been provided by Microsoft Office 365 for your domain name.
Verification steps:
1.- Locate the .txt record that Microsoft Office 365 has provided you with for your domain.
2.- Do not download the file.
Add the préfix: MS= to the .txt record; the result should look as follows:
MS=ms95734766.txt
3.- To add the .txt value to your domain name in your WebSelf account:
- In your individual dashboard, click on "Manage" and then on "Domains".
- Go to the gear icon located at the right of your domain name.
- Click on "Advanced Settings".
On the DNS records (HOST):
-
- Click on EDIT.
- Click on OK (to the alert message).
Note: if you already have a Google TXT vérification value, you must delete it, before adding the Microsoft Office 365 .txt value. - The Edit DNS table appears.
- Click on Add Host, enter: @
- Choose the type of host: TXT
- Enter the name of the host and its value : MS=ms95734766.txt
- Click on Save.
4.- Complète the verification process according to Microsoft Office 365 instructions.
